NVIDIA GeForce 526.61 Driver Releases

On October 28, Activision Blizzard's annual dinner Call of Duty 19 (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II) was officially released, which is a gold-sucking masterpiece, for which NVIDIA also launched the Game Ready driver GeForce 526.47, optimized for the game, but the result was unexpectedly buggy.

NVIDIA confirmed that the GeForce 526.47 driver bug could cause the game to crash, and Beenox, the lead studio for the PC version of Call of Duty 19, also confirmed it.

They said, "We found that the latest version of NVIDIA driver 526.47 can cause stability problems in Call of Duty 19: Modern Warfare 2 games. For now, we recommend that players stay with either version 516.59 or 522.25 of the driver."

Now NVIDIA has launched a solution, the latest GeForce 526.61 driver is out, it's a hotfix hotfix driver, not pushed through GFE, players can download it separately through NVIDIA's official website.

GeForce 526.61 driver mainly solves the instability bugs such as game crash and flicker in Call of Duty 19, it also fixes the problem of crash and black screen in VS, and also solves the bug of GPU status card P0.

This hotfix addresses the following issues:

  • [Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II] Flashing corruption can be seen randomly while playing the game. [3829010]
  • VTube Studio may crash to black screen [3838158]
  • GPU stuck in P0 state after exiting certain games. [3846389]
