Xiaomi Auto hardware chips revealed: two NVIDIA, one Qualcomm Snapdragon
Xiaomi Auto has a powerful automatic driving, intelligent cockpit, car system, and all of this can not be separated from the underlying hardware powerful arithmetic, technology support, Xiaomi car also uses the popular NVIDIA, Qualcomm hardware program.
In terms of automatic driving, the millet car is equipped with two NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chips.
It is based on NVIDIA's new generation GPU architecture, Arm Hercules CPU architecture, deep learning and computational vision gas pedal, integrating 17 billion transistors, and can provide 254 TOPS of arithmetic power, which is close to 7 times that of the previous generation Xavier.
The combined arithmetic power of the two chips amounts to 508 TOPS, or 508 trillion calculations per second.
The NVIDIA DDRIVE Orin platform can provide sufficient power support for autonomous driving, confidence view, digital clustering, and AI cockpit, which can cover different levels of autonomous driving from L2+ to L5.
For the smart cockpit, Xiaomi Auto is fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, Qualcomm's fourth-generation and most powerful cockpit chip to date.
It integrates a sixth-generation Kryo CPU with a performance of up to 230K DMIPS, a sixth-generation Adreno GPU with a performance of 3.1 TFlops, and another 30 TOPS of AI arithmetic.
