The 2023 E3 game show will be held on June 13-16 and will return after 3 years
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has set a date for next year's E3 game show, which will be re-hosted in Los Angeles, the City of Angels. The E3 Game Show will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center for 4 days, June 13-16, 2023.
In addition, the E3 Game Show will host a "Partner Digital Event" starting on June 11 and will continue until the end of the game show. This is because the new crown epidemic E3 game show returned to offline activities after 3 years after the offline activities were cancelled in 2020.
E3 is owned by ESA and next year will be run by ReedPop, the event production company behind PAX, EGX, New York Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration and others, and this is the first time it has tackled E3.
Organizers have announced that E3 2022 will feature separate industry and consumer days and spaces. E3 Business Days will run from June 13 to 15, and the organizers of the game show say it is "reserved exclusively for registered industry personnel for face-to-face networking, professional meetings, and networking with licensors and distributors."
E3 Gamer Days will take place on Thursday, June 15th and Friday, June 16th in halls separate from the Industry Zone, inviting consumers to experience the future of gaming first-hand and connect with developers, content creators, media personalities and more. A content theater dedicated to ticketholders will run on these days and provide an in-depth look at the highly anticipated title.
Kyle Marsden-Kish, vice president of gaming at ReedPop, said in a statement: "E3 is one of the few opportunities for the global gaming industry to come together and come together to show the world what it's creating. Our vision is through Rebuilding the traditional E3 week to reunite the industry, bring back that spark, and restore E3's role as a truly magical global showcase for game creators and consumers."
